AB  - Amaç: Atopik alerjik rinitliçocuk hastalarda intranazal salbutamol uygulanmasının etkisi olup olmadığınıaraştırmak.Gereç ve Yöntemler:Yaşları 6 ile 17 arasında atopik alerjik rinitli on altı çocuk hastaya (9erkek, 7 kız) intranazal salbutamol uygulandıve ilaç uygulamasından önce ve hemen sonra akustik rinometri iledeğerlendirildi.Bulgular: İntranazal salbutamoluygulamasından önce ve sonra sol ve sağ nazal kaviteler arasında CSA(Çaprazkesit alanı)1 SD(standart deviasyon) ve ayrıca sağ nazal kavitede CSA1 alanı veCSA3 mesafesi arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark vardı.Sonuç: İntranazal salbutamoluygulaması atopik alerjik rinitli çocuk hastalarda hiçbir yan etkisi olmaksızınfaydalıdır. Ayrıca intranazal salbutamol akut burun tıkanıklıklarında kurtarıcıilaç olarak kullanılabilir.

N2  - Objective: To investigate whetherintranasal salbutamol has efficacy in pediatric patients with allergic rhinitiswith atopy.Material and Methods: Sixteen pediatricpatients (9 boy, 6 girl) with allergic rhinitis with atopy within age between 6and 17 years were administered intranasal salbutamol and evaluated withacoustic rhinometry before and just after theadministration of the drug. Results: There was astatistically significant difference between CSA1 SD in both left and rightnasal cavities, and also in CSA1 area, CSA3 distance in right nasal cavitybefore and after salbutamol administration.Conclusion: Intranasal salbutamoladministration is effective in pediatric patients with allergic rhinitis withatopy without side effect. Also intranasal salbutamol may be used as a rescuemedicine in acute nasal obstructions.
