AB  - This quantitative study aimed at uncoveringthe reasons of weak professional motivation among 11th and 12th grade teachersfrom the point of view of the teachers themselves in Al-Batinah NorthGovernorate. It also aimed at finding proposals to overcome the causes of weakprofessional motivation, thereby increasing teachers' motivation to work. Theresearcher felt the problem through direct observation in the daily work; whenI found weakness in the motivation of teachers to work, it became clear inseveral things, including frequent absence, and the lack of renewal in teachingmethods and others. To confirm the problem study, the researcher conducted asurvey, found several reasons behind the weakness of professional motivation ofteachers and teachers. In order to achieve these goals, a questionnaire wasformed consisting of (40) paragraphs divided into four axes, which weredistributed to the sample of the study consisting of (371) teachers. The studyconcluded that the paragraphs of the questionnaires indicated all the reasonsfor the weak motivation among the teachers were all between the very high andhigh. One of the most important axes of weakness of motivation is the axis ofthe causes of the educational system. In addition, one of the main reasons forthe decline of teachers' motivation is the weakness of the media role inenhancing the teacher's status and highlighting his role in raisinggenerations. The study came out with a number of recommendations, including theapplication of the credit hours system in grades 11 and 12 as a pre-universitystage.
