At studies, effect of initial herbicide concentration, temperature and pH parameters on adsorption rate and yield was investigated and optimum working conditions determined. Defining parameters of the system, adsorption equilibrium, kinetics and thermodynamic parameters was obtained by modelling and results were compared with commercial activated carbon. It was observed that especially at low initial herbicide concentration the adsorption yield of activated carbon that produced from beet pulp approached to the yield of commercial activated carbon.}, number={1}, publisher={TARIM VE ORMAN BAKANLIĞI EĞİTİM VE YAYIN DAİRESİ BAŞKANLIĞI}
