AB  - Today,the biggest problem that concerns the whole world is the production of healthyand reliable energy. Fossil fuels are the most widely used energy sources. Theuse of fossil resources causes the accumulation of greenhouse gases in theatmosphere and, as a result, climate change. Global warming caused by climatechange is causing great harm to our world. In order to minimize this damage, itis necessary to minimize the use of fossil fuels in energy production and toreplace them with renewable energy sources. Solar, wind, geothermal, hydraulic,biomass, biogas, wave, current and tidal renewables are non-fossil energysources. Turkey is in a very rich geographical position in terms of renewableenergy sources. In this study, using ofrenewable energy sources in Turkey were investigated. Turkey's installed capacity of renewable energywhen the data are analyzed; with the largest share of hydroelectric energy at26681.1 MW followed by 5751.3 MW of wind energy, 832.5 MW of solar energy,820.9 MW of geothermal energy and finally 488.7 MW of biomass energy.
