Bioinformatics is basically thecreation of databases for the creation and storage of biological information.Microbial bioinformatics, together with computer support, is the science ofnumerical analysis of information on microorganisms. The aims of bioinformaticscan be examined in three parts. Regarding these data, it is easy to arrange thedata so that the researchers can easily reach it and record the new data asquickly as it is produced. The second goal is to develop tools and resourcesthat enable this data to be meaningful. The development of these resourcesrequires expertise in computational sciences. The third goal of bioinformaticsis to analyze the data using these tools and turn them into biologicallymeaningful information.   KW - Bioinformatics KW - Technology KW - Biotechnology CR - Baldi, P., and Brunak, S., 2001.
