AB  - Yazımızda dikkate aldığımız temel sorular şunlardır:Kur’an’ın mutlak hakikat iddiası ve hafıza arasında ne tür bir ilişkigözlemlenebilir? Bu ilişki, İslam’ın ötekisi olarak adlandırılan, dolayısıylaolumsuzlanan şeyleri susturma ve baskılama formu olarak ele alınabilir mi?Şayet böyle bir baskılama söz konusuysa, İslam geleneğinde birçok ses, metin vekavramı unut(tur)ma, susturma ve baskılamanın nedenleri neler olabilir? Farkedebildiğimiz şekliyle, bütün ya da mutlak hakikate erişme teşebbüsünde bulunanmonolojik-kavramsal düşünce, entelektüel farkındalık ve metin/yorum geleneğinehâkim olmaya başladığında, bu gelenek düzlemi, geleneğin oluşumuna katkı yapanparçalar için bir tür suskunluk, unutuluş veya baskılamaya yol açma anlamındatahripkâr bir boyut kazanmaya başlamıştır.

N2  - This paper aims at focusing on some crucialquestions as follows: What kind of relation can be observed between Qur’anicclaim to absolute truth and memory? Can this relation be taken as a form ofsilencing and suppressing so-called the others of Islam? And finally what are reasonsfor forgetting, silencing and suppressing some voices, texts, and concepts inIslamic tradition? As far as we can see, when monological-conceptual thinking,which tried to reach at whole or absolute truth, dominated reflective textualtradition, this tradition became a drifting power into oblivion for the partswhich made contribution to the formation of this tradition.
