In the present study, Maslach Burnout Scale was used to collect data. Data were gathered from 7 special education schools or centers. Totally, 109 teachers participated in the research. In the research, whether or not the burnout levels of special education teachers differed according to certain demographic and vocational variables was examined. The results showed that satisfaction with work environment, appreciation, and the perception of workload were among the determiners of emotional exhaustion and depersonalization, and that age and working time were among the determiners of reduced sense of personal accomplishment.
