It was compared to determine the consistency of the two methods. The present study was done on 8 dogs, with different breed, sex and age, suffering from respiratory problem sent for treatment to Ankara University radiodiagnostical unit from private clinics with veterinary faculty andidentified pleural effusion by chest x-ray. It was concluded that thoracoscopy is non-invasive diagnostic method and plays a key role in diagnostic evaluation of pleural effusion.
