Eğer grubu GgΣnin yönü koruyan self-homeomorfizmlerinin bir grubu olarak gΣüzerinde faithful olarak etki ediyorsa, bu taktirde ye GgΣüzerine etkir veya , GgΣnin bir simetri grubudur denir. nin GgΣüzerine etki edecek şekildeki g değerlerinin kümesini ()Gν ile gösterelim. Bu çalışmada, , (22GCC=×ppGCC=×pbir tek asal sayı), 4,AA (alterne gruplar) ve (simetrik grup) grupları için bu küme hesaplanmıştır. Ayrıca, bu gruplar için nin 4SGGgΣüzerine serbest etki edecek şekildeki g değerlerinin ()Gξ kümesi elde edilmiştir.SOME APPLICATIONS ON SYMMETRIES OF SURFACESLet be a non-trivial finite group and GgΣdenote a compact connected orientable surface of genus g. If Gcts faithfully on gΣ group of orientation-preserving self-homeomorphisms of gΣ, e say that G acts on gΣot G is a symmetry group of gΣ. t (G)ν note the set of values of g r which Gcts on agΣn this paper, we compute this set for the groups GC, (is an odd prime), I22C=×ppGCC=×p4,AA alternating groups and symmetric group. We also obtain the set 4S()Gξ of g such that acts freely on GgΣfor these groups.
