Tüm hastaların yaş, cinsiyet, psoriazisin kliniktipleri, artrit varlığı, tırnak tutulumu, aile öyküsü, hastalık başlangıç yaşı,sigara ve alkol kullanım durumu ve almış olduğu tedaviler gibi parametrelerikaydedildi. Bulgular: Çalışmaya katılan 298 hastanın 130‘u(%43.6) kadın, 168’i (%56.4) erkekti. Hastalığın ortalama başlangıç yaşı21.7±16.4 idi. Aile öyküsü hastaların%27.9’unda(83 kişi) pozitifti. Artrit oranı %11.7 (35 kişi) iken, tırnaktutulum oranı %26.2(78 kişi) idi. En sık görülen klinik tip psoriazisvulgaristi. Sigara içme oranı %28.9 (86 kişi) ve alkol alım oranı %1.3 (4 kişi)idi. En sık kullanılan sistemik tedavi ajanı metotreksat(%24.5), en azkullanılan sistemik tedavi ajanı ise biyolojik ajanlar(%8.1) olarak saptandı.Sonuç: Çalışmamızdaki veriler psoriazisinklinik ve demografik özelliklerinin değerlendirildiği literatürdeki diğerçalışmalara benzer şekildeydi. KW - Artrit KW - psoriazis KW - sigara KW - sosyodemografik KW - tırnak N2 - Background: Inthisn study, we aimed to investigate the clinical and sociodemographic featuresof patients with psoriasis who presented to our clinic.Methods: This study was carried out with aretrospective review of 298 patients who were admitted to our clinic betweenJanuary 2017 and February 2019 with the diagnosis of psoriasis. Age, gender,clinical subtype of psoriasis, presence of arthritis, nail involvement, familyhistory, age of onset of the disease, smoking and alcohol use status, andtreatment modalities were recorded.Results: Of the 298 patients, 130 (43.6%) were femaleand 168 (56.4%) were male. The mean age of onset of the disease was 21.7 ± 16.4years. Family history was positive in 27.9% (n = 83) of the patients. The rateof arthritis was 11.7% (n = 35) and the nail involvement rate was 26.2% (n =78). The most common clinical type is psoriasis vulgaris. Smoking rate was28.9% (n = 86) and alcohol consumption was 1.3% (n = 4). The most commonly usedsystemic treatment agent was methotrexate (24.5%) and the least used systemictreatment agent was biological agents (8.1%).Conclusion: The data in our study were similar to otherstudies in the literature evaluating clinical and demographic characteristicsof psoriasis.
