In addition, the study includes definitions of entrepreneur andentrepreneurship concepts, an examination of desired characteristics of entrepreneur candidates,information about the activities that should be carried out before implementingbusiness ideas, and a review of previous studies. In this study, a survey hasbeen conducted with reference to young, entrepreneurial candidates withinuniversity at various faculties and departments. As a result of the study, itis clear that university students are generally not ready for anentrepreneurship. But, if their self-confidence gets stronger, they do showentrepreneurship intentions. In line with the study, the survey was carried outwith 613 university students, and the data was analyzed using IBM SPSS 23Statistical Software Programming where demographic information was subjected todescriptive analysis. Likert scale questions were subjected to factor analysisand reliability analysis. Furthermore, correlation analysis was conducted toexamine the relationships between variables, regression analysis was used totest the hypotheses, and a sobel test was used to measure the effect ofintervening variables. Ayrıca genelanlamda girişimci ve girişimcilik kavramlarının tanımları, girişimci adayındabulunması gereken özellikler, iş fikrinin gerçeğe dönüştürülmeden önceyapılması gereken çalışmalar ve ayrıca daha önce yapılmış çalışmalarla ilgilibilgiler yer almaktadır. Araştırmada, Anketimizi, üniversitelerin çeşitlifakültelerinde ve bölümlerinde okuyan üniversite öğrencisi genç girişimciadaylarıyla yapılan anketler oluşturmuştur. Araştırma da elde edilen bulgularda,üniversite öğrencilerinin genel anlamda kişilik özelliklerinin girişimciliğehazır olmadığı ancak özgüvenleri ortaya çıktığında girişimcilik niyetlerininolduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Araştırmanın amacı kapsamında 613 üniversiteöğrencisi ile anket çalışması yürütülmüştür. IBM SPSS 23 İstatistik PaketProgramı kullanılarak elde edilen veriler değerlendirilmiş ve Demografikbilgilerde “descriptive (tanımlayıcı)” analiz kullanılmıştır.
