N2  - Mediastinal cysts are rare lesions. Aneurysmal bone cysts, originating from bone structures of thoracic cavity, may mimic mediastinal cysts when they grow into the toracic cavity. Our patient who was incidentally diagnosed to have mediastinal cyst underwent surgery. A giant mediastinal aneurysmal bone cyst originating from vertebra was seen and total surgical resection was performed. No complication was seen in the perioperative or postoperative period. Intrathoracic aneurysmal bone cyst can succesfully be cured by prompt surgical aproach
