However, splenic artery aneurysms(SAA) are the most frequent vascular aneurysms of the abdominalviscera and they are asymptomatic, usually located in the middle ordistal segment of the splenic artery. Splenic artery dissections arealmost always diagnosed at postmortem usually in patients withprevious unexplained upper abdominal symptoms. We reportmultidetector computed tomography (MDCT) scans of a splenicartery aneurysm with a dissecting flap extending from the distalend of the coeliac artery to the proximal one third of the splenicartery with a partially thrombosed false lumen. When we searchedthe English language literature this is one of the few cases reportedas having been diagnosed in a living patient. Splenik arter anevrizması(SAA) ise en sık saptanan abdominal viseral anerizma olupasemptomatik seyretmekte ve genellikle splenik arterin orta veyadistal segmentinde saptanmaktadır. Splenik arter diseksiyonları,büyük çoğunlukla postmortem çalışmalarda tanı konmaktaöncesinde açıklanamamış üst abdomen semptomları ileseyretmektedir. Bu yazıda, hastamızın çöliak arter distalindensplenik arter 1/3 proksimaline uzanan diseksiyon flebi ile kısmentromboze olmuş disekan anevrizmayı gösteren çok kesitlibilgisayarlı tomografi (ÇKBT) görüntüleri ile birlikte bu antitetartışılmıştır.  CR - 1.
