AB  - Bu makale, Georges Perec’in otobiyografik özellikler taşıyan, 1960’lar Fransa’sında tüketim toplumunun yükselişi bağlamında döneminin ruhunu yansıttığı öne sürülen Şeyler adlı ilk romanını incelemeye çalışırken, Perec’le yolları kişisel olarak da kesişen Henri Lefebvre’nin “Mekânın Üretimi” düşüncesinin bir arada okunabilmesinin olanaklığı üzerinde durmaktadır. Makale, Perec’in metni ile Lefebvre’in görüşlerinin ilgili dönemde tüketim toplumunun yükselişine yönelik benzer bir eleştirel bakış açısı taşıdığını savunmakta, yaşamın giderek yalnızca tüketim ve metalar üzerinden kurulmaya başlanan bir şey olmaya başlamasının ilgili eleştirilerin ortak çıkış noktası olduğunu öne sürmektedir. Perec’in Lefebvre’nin görüşleriyle birlikte okunabilecek metni bağlamında, yükselen tüketim toplumuna ilişkin eleştirel bakışını, biçimden başlamak üzere zekice tasarlanan metnin dilinde ve kurarak ilerlenen metnin mekânsallıklarında da açıkça görmek mümkündür

N2  - This article tries to study the first novel of Georges Perec, Things: A Story of Sixties which reflects the spirit of its age regarding to rising of the consumer society in 1960s with its autobiographical features. Meanwhile this article also focuses on a reading possibility of Things with the idea of Production of Space by Henri Lefebvre who has crossed their roads personally with Perec. The article supposes that Perec’s text and Lefebvre’s thought have similar critical point of view against the consumer society of the age. To build the life regarding just on basis of consumption and commodities has been supposed as their starting point both for their critical approaches. Perec’s cleverly constructed text has a critical point of view against the rising consumer society in its form, its language and fiction of the spaces in the text as well as its content which can be read together with Lefebvre’s ideas
