AB  - Amaç ve Önem: Bu çalışmada,Türkiye’de, turist rehberlerinin mesleğinde sosyolojik bir problem olarak ifadeedilebilen, cinsiyet temelli sorunlardan cinsel taciz deneyimlerinin ortayaçıkarılması amaçlanmıştır. Tur yönetimini, meslek aidiyetini ve turistrehberlerinin hizmet kalitesini etkileyebilen bir problem olması sebebiyle önemarz etmektedir. Yöntem: Cinsel taciz gibibir tutumun Türkiye’yi ziyaret eden misafirlerde söz konusu olup olmadığını vebunun rehberlerin mesleğine etkisini ortaya çıkarmak amacıyla Türkiye’deki tümprofesyonel turist rehberlerine anket uygulanmış ve açık uçlu soruyöneltilmiştir. Çalışmada karma yöntemlerden gömülü desen araştırmakullanılmıştır.Bulgular: Bu kapsamdaaraştırma sonucunda, misafirlerde erkek turist rehberlerine yönelik cinseltaciz eğiliminin daha yüksek olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Açık uçlu soruda isekatılımcılar, cinsiyet temelli sorunlar konusunda misafirlerden ziyade, turpersonelinin davranışlarında problemler olduğunu ve tur yönetimini olumsuzyönde etkilediğini ifade etmişlerdir.Özgünlük/Bilimsel Katkısİlgili alan yazında, bu konuda turizm işletme personelleri ile ilgiliçalışmaların yapıldığı fakat turist rehberleri ile ilgili bir araştırmanınolmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Bu çalışmada özellikle Profesyonel turist rehberlerininmesleki sorunlarından cinsel taciz konusuna değinilmiştir.

N2  - Purpose and Importance: In this study, it is aimed toreveal sexual harassment experiences of tourist guides in Turkey. Sexualharassment is one of gender based problems which can be expressed as asociological problem in the profession of tourist guides. The study topic isimportant because results will reveal the impact of attitude of sexualharassment, which may affect the service quality of tour guides and theirprofessional belonging.Methodology: A questionnaire with an open-ended questions inthe end was applied to all tourist guides in Turkey. Grounded theory, which isone of the mixed methods, was used in the study.Findings: As a result of this research, it was found thatthe sexual harassment tendency towards male tourist guides was higher among theguests. In the open-ended question, the participants stated that there wereproblems in the behavior of tour staff rather than guests in terms ofgender-based problems and that they negatively affected tour management.Originality/Value: In the related literature, ithas been determined that there are studies about tourism management personnelbut there is no research about tourist guides. The issue of sexual harassment,which is one of the professional problems of professional tourist guides, willbe discussed.
