AB  - As the rate of crime in Nigeria is on the increasewith criminals going unpunished due to lack of adequate evidence and eyewitnesses, it is imperative to seek an alternative assistance, robust enough totie criminals to their crimes. Forensic science is the application of scienceand technology to investigate criminal acts. Application of forensic incombating crime in Nigeria has been underplayed. The aim of this article is tobring to awareness, the importance of forensic science and technology and howit could be applied in Nigerian to combat crime.
