Klinik muayenelerve Giemsa boyama sonrasında eritrositler içerisinde etkenlerin görülmesi iletanı kondu. Tanı sonrasında tedavi öncesi ve sonrası hayvanlardan kan alınarakserumları ayrıştırıldı. Bu serumlarda Alanin aminotransferaz (ALT) ve Aspartataminotransferaz (AST) enzim aktiviteleri, Hp, Cp, üre ve kreatinin seviyeleribelirlendi. Tedavi öncesi ALT (P<0.05) ve AST (P<0.05) enzim aktiviteleriile üre (P<0.05), kreatinin (P<0.05) ve Cp (P<0.001), seviyeleritedavi sonrasına göre yüksek belirlendi. Hp seviyesi ise tedavi öncesindetedavi sonrasına göre düşük bulundu (P<0.001). Sonuç olarak Babesiosis’liköpeklerde ALT ve AST enzim aktiviteleri ile üre, kreatinin, Hp ve Cpseviyelerinde önemli değişikliklerin olduğu belirlendi. Köpeklerde babesiosishastalığının prognozunda ve tedavi sürecinde bu parametrelerin takibinin önemliolabileceği kanaatine varıldı.  KW - Köpek KW - Babesiosis KW - Haptoglobin KW - Seruloplazmin N2 - In this study, it was aimedto determine haptoglobin (Hp), ceruloplasmin (Cp) and some biochemicalparameters levels before and after treatment in dogs naturally infected withbabesiosis. Animal material of the study consisted of 10 dogs of different ageand sex. There were icterus, hemoglobinuria and lack of appetite in dogs. Afterclinical examination and Giemsa staining, disease was diagnosed by the presenceof agents in erythrocytes. After diagnosis, blood samples were taken fromanimals before and after treatment and sera was separated. In these sera,Alanine Aminotransferase (ALT) and Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST) enzymeactivities, Hp, Cp, urea and creatinine levels were determined. Pre-treatmentALT (P<0.05) and AST (P<0.05) enzyme activities, urea (P<0.05),creatinine (P<0.05) and Cp (P<0.001) levels were determined higher thanpost-treatment. Pre-treatment Hp level was determined lower compared topost-treatment level (P<0.001). As a result, significant changes in ALT andAST enzyme activities, urea, creatinine, Hp and Cp levels were determined indogs with Babesiosis. It was concluded that follow-up of these parameters maybe important in the prognosis and treatment process of the disease in dogs.
