The sampling includes 60 students in the 7th grade attendingschool during the second term of 2015-2016 academic year. A quasi-experimentalresearch design with two groups pre-test/post- test quantitative methods wasused. There were 32 female and 28 male students. 32 students were classified asexperimental group and 28 students as control group. The data were collectedusing “ Reflective Thinking Skills for Problem Solving Scale”, and “Achievement Test”. During quantitative analysis, t test was used to identifythe frequency, mean, median, mode, standard deviation and independent groups.The results of the study indicate that the students’ academic achievement andreflective thinking skills for problem solving have improved. According to ttest analysis, there were significant differences between experimental andcontrol group. Some recommendations were suggested according to the results.
