The research sample consists of 30 volunteer pre-service Science teachers studying at the Faculty of Education in a university located in the North of Turkey. Recycling Awareness Scale developed by the researcher has been used as a data collection tool in the research. The awareness scale developed before and after the training has been applied as pre-test and post-test to pre-service science teachers. The data acquired from the Recycling Awareness Scale in the study has been analyzed as percent (%) and frequency (f). T test analysis has been performed for the related samples to determine whether there is a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores of pre-service science teachers’ awareness scale.
