AB  - Bu çalışmada, ilkokullardagörev yapmakta olan sınıf öğretmenlerinin zor veliler ile baş etmestratejilerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada nitelaraştırma desenlerinden fenomenoloji deseni kullanılmıştır. Örneklem türüolarak amaçlı örnekleme yöntemi seçilmiştir. Çalışma grubunu İstanbul’dakiilkokullarda görev yapmakta olan 20 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplamaaracı olarak görüşmeden yararlanılmış ve bu doğrultuda yarı yapılandırılmışgörüşme formu hazırlanmıştır. Yapılan görüşmelerden elde edilen veriler içerikanalizine tabi tutulmuştur. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre zor velilerin çokfarklı özelliklere sahip oldukları ve bu durumun öğretmenleri oldukça sıkıntıyasoktuğu görülmektedir. Velilerin kızmasına veya üzülmesine etki eden en önemlifaktör çocuklarının maruz kaldığı olumsuzluklardır. Zor veliler karşısındadoğru stratejileri kullanabilen öğretmenlerin, yaşadıklarısorunlar karşısında daha kendinden emin, güvenli, etkili ve verimli hareketedebilecekleri ileri sürülebilir. Bu nedenle öğretmenlerin zor velilerleçalışma yöntemleri üzerine kendilerini geliştirmeleri önerilebilir.
