AB  - Tafdil konusu kelam literatüründe daha çok hilafet tartışmaları  bağlamında esas alınmıştır. Bununla beraber konu, peygamberlerin  fazileti, peygamberlerin meleklerle mukayesesi gibi teolojik tartışmalara vardırılmıştır. Hz. Muhammed’in diğer peygamberlere üstünlüğü de bu bağlamda tartışılmıştır. Osmanlı âlimi İbn Kemal, İsa’nın Muhammed’den üstün olduğunu savunan Molla Kabız’a cevap vermiştir. İbn Kemal düşüncelerini “Afdaliyya tü Muhammed”  isimli risalesinde açıklamıştır. Bu risaleyi, farklı nüshalarını araştırarak neşrettik ve tafdil meselesi bağlamında kısaca değerlendirdik.

However, this subject has been taken to the discussions of theological matters such as prophecy, angels, priority among the prophets etc. The superiority of Muhammad upon the other prophets was discussed in this context. The Ottoman Scholar, Ibn Kamal responded to the claims of Molla Qabiz who claimed that Jesus Christ had the superiority on Muhammad. İbn Kamal explained his ideas in a tractate named “Afdaliyya tü Muhammed” We edited this risalah taking up the some other version of it and in the sense of superiority we evaluated this matter as summing up.
