AB  - Buaraştırmada önemi günden güne artan, Bilişim Teknolojileri ve Yazılım dersiöğretim programlarına da eklenen ve internet ortamında yapılan her türlüfaaliyeti kapsayan sayısal ayak izi konulu bir ders tasarlanmıştır.Araştırmanın amacı sayısal ayak izi konulu ders tasarımının öğrencilerinsayısal vatandaşlık konusundaki akademik başarılarına etkisini incelemektir.Çalışma grubu 2016-2017 Eğitim-Öğretim yılında özel bir ortaokulun 5. ve 6.sınıflarında öğrenim gören 49 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Tasarlanan sayısal ayakizi konulu dersin uygulaması Bilişim Teknolojileri ve Yazılım dersi kapsamındailk hafta ön test, 7 hafta ders anlatımı ve son hafta son test olmak üzeretoplam 9 hafta sürmüştür. Uygulama öncesi ve sonrası bir farklılık olupolmadığını test etmek amacıyla öğrencilerin ön test ve son test puanlarıilişkili örneklemler t testi ile sınanmıştır. Yapılan analizin etki büyüklüğünüincelemek için ise Cohen's d değeri hesaplanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda öntest ve son test puanları arasında anlamlı bir fark olduğu ve son testpuanlarının ön test puanlarına göre çok geniş etkili bir artış gösterdiğigörülmüştür. Bu sonuçlara göre, sayısal ayak izi ders tasarımının öğrencilerinsayısal vatandaşlık konusundaki akademik başarılarına olumlu yönde biretkisinin olduğu ve bu etkinin anlamlı olduğu söylenebilir. Elde edilenbulgular ve sonuçlar ışığında araştırmaya ve uygulamaya yönelik birtakımönerilerde bulunulmuştur.

N2  - In this research, a lesson was designed about the digital footprint. The importance of digital footprint, which covers all kinds of activities carried out in the internet environment, is increasing day by day. So, the digital footprint is added to the curriculum of the Information Technologies and Software course. The aim of this research is to examine the effect of the digital footprint course design on students’ academic achievement about digital citizenship. The research group consisted of 49 students in the 5th and 6th grades of a college during the 2016-2017 academic years. The implementation of the designed digital footprint course lasted for a total of 9 weeks, including the first-week pre-test, 7-week implementation process, and last week post-test within the scope of the Information Technologies and Software course. In order to test whether there is a difference between before and after the implementation process, the data obtained from pre-test and post-test scores of the students were tested by paired samples t-test. Cohen's d value was calculated to examine the effect size of the analysis performed. It was observed that there is a meaningful difference between pre-test and post-test scores in the result of the research, and post-test scores showed a substantial effective increase compared to pre-test scores. According to these results, it can be said that the design of the digital footprint course has a positive effect on the academic achievement of digital citizenship, and this effect is meaningful. In light of the findings and results obtained, some suggestions were made for research and further implementation.
