AB  - Four iridoid glucosides, aucubin1, ajugol2, ajugoside3, harpagoside4,  and a phenylethanoid glycoside, verbascoside5 were isolated from the  flowers of bioactive methanolic extract of Verbascum pycnostachyum  Boiss & Helder. The structures of the compounds were determined from  spectral methods  UV, IR, 1D NMR and Mass Spec. . Ajugoside3 is encountered  for the first time from Verbascum species.

Bileşiklerin yapıları spektral yöntemlerle  UV, IR, 1D NMR ve  Mass Spektr.  tespit edilmiştir. Ajugozit3 ilk defa Verbascum türlerinden  elde edilmiştir.
