AB  - Çocukluk yas grubunda gögüs agrısı sık karsılasılan belirtilerdendir. Bu çalısmada ülkemizdeki çocuklarda egzersizle indüklenen gögüs agrısı ile egzersizle indüklenen astım arasındaki iliski zirve ekspiratuar akım hızı (PEFR) ölçümü yapılarak arastırıldı. Çalısmaya egzersizle indüklenen gögüs agrısı dısında sikâyeti olmayıp, allerji öyküsü bulunmayan çocuklar (n=64) ile kontrol grubu kabul edilen ve herhangi bilinen bir hastalıgı olmayan saglıklı çocuklar (n=58) alındı. Gögüs agrısı grubu ile kontrol grubu yas ve cinsiyet bakımından benzerdi. Gögüs agrısı grubu yas ortalaması 11,9 yıl (9–16) ve kontrol grubu yas ortalaması 11,5 yıl (8–14) idi. Gögüs agrısı grubunda ortalama sistolik ve diastolik basınç ölçümleri sırasıyla, 96 / 66 mmHg ve 91 / 60 mmHg idi. Gögüs agrısı grubunda 7 (% 10,9) çocukta egzersiz sonrası PEFR degerlerinde egzersiz öncesine oranla % 15 düzeyinde düsme saptanırken kontrol grubunda PEFR degerlerinde düsme saptanmadı (p

N2  - Chest pain is a frequently encountered problem in childhood. In this study we aimed to asses the relationship between exertional chest pain and asthma by using the peek expiratory flow rate measurements. For this study, 64 otherwise healthy children with chest pain (chest pain group), 9-16 years of age (mean 11.9) and 58 healthy (control group), 8-11 years (mean 11.5) were compared with the use of peak flow-meter.
