Regarding of this rapid change and development, enterprises needto give more importance to the concepts of management and manager. In terms ofthe growth and development of the enterprises, how and to what extent thepeople who work in the management part of the enterprises have the managerialcharacteristics and how subordinates perceive their managers are veryimportant.How the propertiesthat should be found in upper management of the forest products industryenterprises operating in Istanbul province were perceived by the employees atthe subordinate level were tried to be revealed with three features andmanagerial skills approach. Face-to-face survey method was used in the study.The survey is composed of three parts. The numbers of persons surveyed were271.
