AB  - Uluslarası platformda son yıllarda “kültürel miras” yeniden tanımlanmakta ve mirasın günümüz kullanımları araştırılmaktadır. Araştırmalarda, miras ile “bugün” ilişkisi üzerine odaklanılmakta ve miras yapımı, sosyo-kültürel bağlamda geliştirilen ve değiştirilen kültürel bir süreç olarak açıklanmaktadır (Lowenthal 1998; Harvey 2001; Graham 2002; Graham Ashworth ve Tunbridge 2000; Smith 2006). Belirtilen çerçevede, bu çalışma, kültürel miras yapım süreci üzerine bir değerlendirme yapmayı amaçlamaktadır. Arkeolojik miras özelinde Efes Kuretler Caddesi örneği üzerinden bir kent parçasının biçimlenmesi analiz edilecek ve değerlendirilecektir

N2  - In recent years, the concept of cultural heritage is re-defined and uses of heritage for contemporary society has been researched. These researches focus on making heritage, explain it in relation to its “presentness” and view heritage, as a cultural process, in which it is developed and changed according to the contemporary socio-cultural context. (Lowenthal 1998; Harvey 2001; Graham 2002; Graham Ashworth and Tunbridge, 2000; Smith 2006). In this context, this paper aims to evaluate the process of making heritage. It focuses on analysing and evaluating the formation process of archaeological heritage in relation with the case of the Curetes Street, Ephesus
