AB  - Dünyanın en sorunlu bölgesi olan Ortadoğu'da barışın sağlanmasında dikkate alınması gereken en önemli unsurlardan birisi dinî ve mezhebî oluşumlardır. Bunların coğrafi dağılımlarını ve nüfuslarının tespitini amaçlayan bu çalışma neticesinde, çeşitli kaynaklardaki nüfus verile-rinde ciddi tutarsızlıklar olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

N2  - One of the most important factor which should be considered to ensure peace in the Middle East, the world's most troub-led region, is religious and sectarian for-mations. Through this paper aiming at determining the geographical distributions and estimated populations of these gro-ups, it is found out that there are serious discrepancies among data and information given in different sources.
