Hasarın şiddeti iskeminin süresi ile artmaktadır. Renal iskemi/reperfüzyon hasarı başta böbrek olmak üzere uzak doku hasarlarına da neden olabilmektedir. Antioksidan özelliklere sahip borik asit iskemi/reperfüzyon hasarlarına karşı koruyucu bir ajan olabileceği önerilmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, renal iskemi/reperfüzyon hasarında borik asidin serum lipit profili ve elektrolit düzeyleri üzerindeki etkilerini araştırmaktır. 35 sıçan beş gruba ayrıldı: sham, iskemi/reperfüzyon ve iskemi/reperfüzyon+50 mg/kg borik asit, iskemi/reperfüzyon+100 mg/kg borik asit, iskemi/reperfüzyon+200 mg/kg borik asit. Sham grubuna sadece cerrahi stres prosedürü uygulandı. İskemi/reperfüzyon grubunda, sol renal arter izole edilerek, anti-travmatik vaskular klemp yardımıyla 45 dakika süreyle iskemi oluşturuldu, ardından 24 saat reperfüzyon uygulandı. İskemi/reperfüzyon+borik asit gruplarında, reperfüzyondan 10 dakika önce intraperitonal olarak borik asit uygulandı. Serum sodyum, potasyum, trigliserit, kolesterol, LDL ve HDL düzeyleri belirlendi. Borik asit, iskemi/reperfüzyon hasarı grubunda artan potasyum, trigliserit, kolesterol ve LDL seviyelerini düşürürken, azalan sodyum ve HDL seviyelerini arttırmıştır p KW - renal iskemi/reperfüzyon KW - borik asit KW - sodyum KW - potasyum KW - lipit profili N2 - Renal ischemia/reperfusion injury may occur due to hypotension, hypovolemic shock, vascular occlusion and renal transplantation. The severity of the damage increases with the duration of ischemia. Renal ischemia/reperfusion injury can also cause distant tissue damage, especially in the kidney. Boric acid with antioxidant properties is suggested to be a protective agent against ischemia / reperfusion injury. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of boric acid on serum lipid profile and electrolyte levels in renal ischemia/reperfusion injury. 35 rats were divided into five groups: sham, ischemia/reperfusion and ischemia/reperfusion+50 mg/kg boric acid, ischemia/reperfusion+100 mg/kg boric acid, ischemia/reperfusion+200 mg/kg boric acid. Sham group was only subjected to surgical stress procedure. In the ischemia/reperfusion group, left renal artery was isolated and ischemia was induced for 45 minutes with anti-traumatic vascular clamp, followed by 24-hour reperfusion. In ischemia/reperfusion+boric acid groups, boric acid was administered intraperitoneally 10 minutes before reperfusion. Serum sodium, potassium, triglyceride, cholesterol, LDL and HDL levels were determined. In the ischemia/reperfusion injury group, boric acid decreased increasing potassium, triglyceride, cholesterol and LDL levels, while increasing decreasing sodium and HDL levels p CR - Aksit, H., Bildik, A.
