There is not much information on the author’s life. According to uska (4) he was bom in İshbilia (SeviUa) ’and lived toward the end ’ the twelfth century and wrote a valuable book. Brockelman (1) ateş there are copies of this treatise in Leid. 1285, Paris 2804, and ritish Museum 998.
According to Sarton (5) Kitab al-falâha ■was edited with a Spanish anslation by Jos. Ant. Banqueri in Madrid in 1802. İt was also anslated into French by Clement Mullet in 1864-1867, but both were ısatisfactory.}, number={03}, publisher={Ankara University}
