AB  - Summary: Fertility records, obtained over 6 years (1965-1971), from a Konya Merino floek of about 500 breeding cwes, have been analized to study the possibilities of improvement through selection in thenumber of lambs bom per ewe mated (TKDK) numberoflamos weaned per ewe mated (TKSK), number oflambs bom per ewe lambed (DKDK)and number of lambs weaned per per ewe lambed (DKSK). For this purpose, repeatabilities have been cstimated with intra-class correlation method, and heritabilities withpaternal half-si b correlation method. The effects of year and ewe's age on the above traitswere also examined by estimating their magnitudes with the leastsquares procedure. Allavailable rocords wcre used for studying the environmental effects, while repeatability analyses were performed considering only the records of ewes which had records in two or moreyears. For the heritability analyscs, records obtained in the first two performance years(at 2 and 3 years of age) were empIoyed
