among 361 tumor speeimens obtained from poultry farms in Ankara, İzmir and Bursa. The
distributions and origines of these tumors in the different genotypes of ehieke~ were reported.
The results were:
1- Hundred forthy five (40.1 %) out of 361 tumors were seen in the Leghorn and
Hi-sex Genotypes. Seventy six of these tumors were found to originate from ovarial and oviductal tissucs.
2- Among 361 tumor cases, Icucosis (Iymphomatosis), adenocarcinomas, hepatoeelluler careinomas, pancreas-Langerhans lslet cancers, teratomas and leiomyomas were
23.8 %, 16.6 %, 9.1 %,6 %, 13.8 %, 7.4 % rcspectivcly.
3- Lcucosis (Iymphomatosis) appcared to be important in chickens as a tıımoral invasion. ••’.
Alınan sonuçlara göre:
4- The incidence of the tumors was 0.37 % in the poultry fa’rms of Beypazarı district
of Ankara. i
Özet: Ankara, İzmir ve Bursa ılleri tavuk çiftliklerinden elde edilen 361 tavuk tümörünün histolojik olarak incelenmesiyle 31 tip tavuk tümörü seçilmiştir. Bu tümörlerin 19
tavuk genotipi içerisinde dağılımı ve tümörlerin hangi organlard~,gcliştiği tespit edilmiştir.
