Various immunological and inflammatory factors play a role with different pathophysiological mechanisms in the development of acne vulgaris by increasing sebum production. The aim of this study was to reveal the changes in CBC sub-parameters and calculated parameters before and after acne vulgaris treatment and to enable these parameters to be used as non-invasive, low-cost, effective new laboratory tests in the evaluation of treatment efficacy. A total of 162 patients (109 females, 67.3%; 53 males, 32.7%) were included in this study. In this study, it was found that NEU, MPV, P-LCR, and PDW levels decreased significantly after treatment (p<0.001). There was a significant decrease in NLR and PLR values (p<0.001). LYM and PLT count increased significantly after the treatment (p<0.001). CBC parameters such as NLR, PLR, and P-LCR can be used to evaluate the efficacy of systemic isotretinoin treatment in patients with acne vulgaris.  </div>}, number={3}, publisher={Mugla Sitki Kocman University}
