AB  - Çalışmada bireysel kaynak yönetimi araçlarının tanımı, gelişimi ve işlevleri gibi konu başlıklarına yer verilmektedir. Çalışma akademisyenlerin kaynak yönetimi araçlarından yararlanma farkındalıklarını ortaya koymayı, verilerini ve araştırma kaynaklarını nasıl yönettiklerini ve muhafaza ettiklerini saptamayı ve bireysel kaynak yönetim araçlarının akademik çalışmalarda sağladığı avantajları keşfetmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Betimleyici bir yöntemle ele alınan çalışmanın evreni, Ordu Üniversitesi’nde aktif olarak çalışan 748 akademisyenden oluşmaktadır. Veri toplama tekniği olarak anket uygulaması gerçekleştirilen çalışmanın örneklemi ise 267 akademisyenden meydana gelmektedir. Anket formu oluşturulurken farklı alanlarda uzman akademisyenlerin görüş ve önerileri dikkate alınmış ve Ordu Üniversitesi’nde gerçekleştirilen pilot uygulama neticesinde ankete son şekli verilmiştir. Anket formu, Çankırı Karatekin Üniversitesi Bilimsel Etik Kurulu 20 Ekim 2020 tarihli kararıyla uygulanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda bireysel kaynak yönetim araçlarının akademisyenlerin bilimsel araştırma sürecinde gereksinim duydukları temel ihtiyaçlar için gerekli olduğuna dair bulgular elde edilmiştir. Akademisyenlerin dijital bilgi kaynaklarını erişilebilir şekilde sakladıkları, senkronizasyon özelliklerini kullandıkları ve kaynak yönetimi araçlarını kullanmayı önemsedikleri sonucuna varılmıştır. Ayrıca, akademisyenlerin bireysel kaynak yönetimi araçlarını en çok atıf vermek ve kaynakça düzenlemek için tercih ettikleri anlaşılmıştır. / Topics such as definition, development, and functions of reference management tools are included in the study. The study aims to reveal academicians' awareness of reference management tools, to determine how they manage and preserve their data and research resources, and to explore the advantages of reference management tools in academic studies. The universe of the study, which was handled with a descriptive method, consists of 748 academicians actively working at Ordu University. The sample of the study, for which the questionnaire was applied as a data collection technique, consists of 267 academicians. While creating the survey, the opinions and suggestions of academicians who are experts in different fields were taken into consideration and the survey was finalized according to the results of the pilot application carried out at Ordu University. The questionnaire form was applied with the decision of Çankırı Karatekin University Scientific Ethics Committee dated 20 October 2020. As a result of the study, it was found that reference management tools are necessary for the basic needs of academicians in the scientific research process. It was concluded that academics store digital information resources in an accessible way, use synchronization features, and attach importance to using resource management tools. Also, it has been understood that academics mostly preferred reference management tools for citing and organizing bibliography.
