AB  - Tarih boyunca bütün Müslüman toplumlar, çocukluk çağından itibaren Kur’an’ın öğrenilmesine ve öğretilmesine büyük önem vermişlerdir. Öyle ki çocukluk dönemi eğitiminin merkezinde Kur’an öğretimi yer almıştır. Eğitim tarihimizde önemli bir yer tutan Kur’an öğretimi konusunda yeteri kadar akademik çalışma yapılmamıştır. Yapılan çalışmada, İslam eğitim tarihinde çocuklara Kur’ân öğretilmesinin temel nedenleri, öğretim yaklaşımları, öğretimin yapıldığı mekanları, öğretim sürecindeki merasimleri konularını bütünlüklü bir şekilde ele alan “İslam Eğitim Tarihinde Çocuklara Kur’ân Öğretimi” adlı eserin değerlendirmesi yapılmaktadır.

N2  - Throughout history, all Muslim societies pay attention to the teaching and the learning of the Holy Quran from the early ages. So, the teaching of the Holy Quran figured at the center of the education of the early ages. There is not enough academic study about the teaching of the Holy Quran that takes an important place in our education history. In that study, there is an assessment of the handwork “Teaching The Holy Quran in Islamic Education History” that disccusses entirely the essential reasons of teaching the Holy Quran to the children during the İslamic education history, approaches on teaching methods, the environment of teaching, ceremonies and their topics during the teaching process.
