Composite structures produced were containing 3 % and % 6 waste cotton fibre. 100% PP with no cotton fibre was also produced. All samples were tested in terms of tensile strength, elasticity modulus, yield strength, elongation, Izod impact strength, hardness and MFI (Melt Flow Index). Increasing the cotton waste ratio in PP polymer composite; increases the elasticity modulus, yield strength and tensile strength, and decreases the % elongation and izod impact strength, but in hardness values however considerable changes were not observed.

Key Words: Waste cotton, PP, composite materials, polymer composite.
}, number={2}, publisher={Gazi University}
