AB  - Spinoza felsefesinde insan ruhu, beden ile zorunlu birlik içerisindedir.İnsanın ruhu, bedeni ile birlikte yaşamak zorundadır. Spinoza, insan ruh vebedeninin zorunluluk içerisinde paralel çalıştığını söyler. Ruh ve beden ilişkisi,karşıtlık ya da çatışma değil uyum içerisinde olmaktır. Bu uyumun nedeni,beden ve ruhun Tanrı’nın iki eşit parçası olarak kabul edilmesidir. Bukabulden dolayı ruh ve beden arasındaki denge bozulmaz. Ancak insan ruhu,bedenin etkilenimlerine maruzdur. Bedenin etkilenimlerinin neden olduğututkular karşısında edilgin değil etkin olmak insan ruhunun gücüdür. Spinozaruhun gücünün insanı, bilge ve özgür yaptığını söyler. Bu da ruhun içindeolduğu zorunluluğu bilmesi, doğasına yani aklına uygun davranmasıdır.

N2  - Human soul, in the philosophy of Spinoza, is necessarily together withbody. The soul and body of human must live together. Spinoza remarks thatsoul and body of human function parallel to each other compulsorily.Relationship between soul and body necessiates harmony not contradiction orconflict. The reason for that harmony is that body and soul are accepted astwo equal part of god. Because of that acceptance the balance between souland body is maintained. However, human soul is exposed to affection of body.The power of human soul is being active not passive against to passionscaused by affections of body. Spinoza remarks that the power of soul makeshuman wise free. As a result, soul acts in accordance with its nature in otherwords its reason by knowing the necessities it is in.
