Abstract
The purpose of this study is to present a new approach to build a fuzzy model for a porcelain production system, namely spray dryer. The production system is an unknown, imprecise, and ill-defined one. The developed fuzzy model is based on the system identification method. The description of rules and the identification of system were constructed on the basis of the priori knowledge of the real production system. Crisp data concerning to input-output parameters were used for identification and development of the fuzzy model. In order to identify the system, Fuzzy C-means clustering algorithm was used. The results obtained are also significant for controlling the production system.
