Abstract

Debugging methods used in embedded software is different from desktop applications due to its close interactions with hardware. In general, software and hardware of embedded system projects are developed in parallel and integrated when they are ready to be integrated. There are certain design methods to reduce the integration problems. In this paper, debugging methods and considerations during hardware design to make software debugging more efficient are explained.
