Abstract

This study aims to determine whether organisations in Turkey consider organisational learning as a survival mechanism. The research was conducted by a survey instrument, mailed to all the 142 firms that received ISO 9001-9002 certifications from the Turkish Standards Institution by 2000-2001. The correlation analysis has been conducted to examine the relationships among the variables; organisational learning, individual consideration, continuous learning and innovation, organisational communication, change management, systematic problem solving, shared vision and strategic thinking, team work, measurement of performance and learning, benchmarking, reward and recognition variables.
