Aim: This study made to know about the > 35 years old hypertensive person's situations, to control the hypertension and taking drug regularly who live in Yenimahalle Training And Research Health Department Region (YTARHD).

Materials and method: To find the frequency of coroner hearth disease in > 35 years old people who live in YTARHD, 103 hypertensive persons who were in another previous study were used for this study.

Results: The average of age in this study is 56.3±10.9. 95.1% had social insurance. 34.3% were using hard fat, 18.4% were eating salty. 1. degree relatives were have hypertension in 45.0%. The mean blood pressure were; 155.7±17.5/ 89.7±10.8. 82.5% of the people who were included in this study were taking drug and 35% of the old hypertensives were under control.

Conclusions: The majority of the hypertensives who were living in YTARHD were have information about their diseases and were taking drugs. But, to use absolute expressions about this area, big scale social crosshatchings will be useful.
