I started my academic carreer and got my bachelor degree from Biology/Fundamental and Industrial Microbiology at Ege University in 2004. After that, I moved to Izmir Institute of Technology to meet with new faces. I received my Master degree from Biotechnology Program at Izmir Institute of Technology in 2008. Later, it was great time to be exposed to new horizons and cultures where the best place for that was the US. I moved to the US in 2009 and started working as a research technician at Nebraska Medical Center. After the first working experience in the US, I moved to the new place, Sweet Home Alabama where I was graduated from Microbiology Program at Alabama State University with PhD degree in 2013. During the years passed abroad, I realized that I was terribly missing my country and my people and I decided to return back to my heaven, İzmir.
