A new species of the genus Ledermuelleriopsis Willmann (Acari: Stigmaeidae) from Aydin, Turkey

Abstract

A new species viz. Ledermuelleriopsis aydinensis sp. nov., collected from soil and litter under Pistacia lentiscus (Anacardiaceae), Pinus brutia (Pinaceae), Oenanthe pimpinelloides (Apiaceae), Salsola soda (Chenopodiaceae), Ptilostemon chamaepeuce (Asteraceae), is described and illustrated based on adult females.
