Description of Prozercon miraci sp. nov. (Acari: Mesostigmata: Zerconidae) from Coastal Aegean Section in Turkey, with a key to the Turkish species

Year 2020, Volume: 2 Issue: 1, 18 - 23, 31.01.2020

Abstract

Specimens of Prozercon miraci sp. nov. were collected
from oak forest habitats in Coastal Aegean Section in Turkey and their
identifications and illustrations were made. Definitions and drawings of female
and male specimens, and immature stages were also given. In addition, an updated
key to the species known from Turkey of this genus was included in this study.
