Koroner Anjiyografide Transradial Yaklaşım

Year 2021, Volume: 4 Issue: 1, 22 - 28, 24.02.2021

Abstract

Transradial Approach in Coronary Angiography

Year 2021, Volume: 4 Issue: 1, 22 - 28, 24.02.2021

Abstract

Transradial approach, which is a new method for coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary interventions, has increased in popularity over time after its first application and has become a standard approach in many centers today. Transradial access is a safe intervention method compared to transfemoral, due to lower intervention site complications, short hospital stay, early patient mobilization, high patient comfort and low major bleeding events. In this article, the advantages of the coronary angiography procedure via the radial artery approach, the guideline recommendations and the concerns about the procedure were examined in the light of the studies.
