<p>The aim of this study was to analyse the relationships among teacher support, reading self-efficiacy, reading habit, reading pleasure and PISA reading literacy performance and to identify the contribution of motivation sources and the perceived teacher-support to the reading literacy performance of PISA reading literacy on the basis of data from PISA 2018 Türkiye. In the study conducted with the relational screening model, the hierarchical linear model was utilized to identify the contribution of the variables to the PISA reading literacy performance. The sample of the study consisted of 5670 students aged fifteen who participated in the PISA 2018 Türkiye application. The study concluded that there was a positive relationship between the PISA reading literacy performance and reading self-efficacy, reading habits, reading pleasure and teacher support. As far as the contribution of the variables to the PISA reading literacy performance is concerned, the reading self-efficacy, reading habits and reading pleasure accounted for 11.5% of the performance, while teacher support accounted for 1%. The results obtained were discussed with the results of the relevant studies and suggestions were offered about the reading education in Türkiye.</p></trans-abstract>

İlişkisel tarama modeliyle yürütülen çalışmada değişkenlerin PISA okuma okuryazarlığı performansına katkısını belirlemek için hiyerarşik lineer model kurulmuştur. Çalışmanın örneklemi PISA 2018 Türkiye katılımcılarından oluşan on beş yaş grubu 5670 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Çalışma sonucunda PISA okuma okuryazarlığı performansı ile okuma öz-yeterliği, okuma alışkanlığı, okuma zevki ve öğretmen desteği arasında pozitif yönde ilişki bulunmuştur. Değişkenlerin PISA okuma okuryazarlığı performansına katkısına bakıldığında okuma öz-yeterliği, okuma alışkanlığı ve okuma zevki, performansın %11,5’ini açıklarken öğretmen desteği ise %1’ini açıklamaktadır. Ulaşılan sonuçlar, ilgili araştırmaların sonuçlarıyla tartışılmış, Türkiye’deki okuma eğitimi ile ilgili önerilerde bulunulmuştur.</p>
