                            <p>Children&#039;s literature products enrich their readers in terms of emotionand thought through their implicit messages and give them the opportunity toestablish empathy with others. Based on this reality, the book entitled“Children&#039;s Literature and Sensitivity Education” and written by Prof. Dr.Canan Aslan first draws a conceptual framework on the concepts of “children&#039;sliterature” and “sensitivity”, and then embodies these concepts through a workof children&#039;s literature. In this study, Aslan’s book consisting of fivechapters is discussed and introduced in terms of the purpose of writing, itsplace in the field, and content.</p></trans-abstract>
                                                                                                                                    <abstract><p>Çocuk edebiyatı ürünleri, örtükiletileri yoluyla okurlarını duygu ve düşünce yönünden zenginleştirir, onlarabaşkalarıyla eşduyum kurma olanağı tanır. Prof. Dr. Canan Aslan’ın yazmışolduğu “Çocuk Edebiyatı ve Duyarlık Eğitimi” adlı kitap, bu gerçeklikten yolaçıkarak önce “çocuk edebiyatı” ve “duyarlık” kavramlarıyla ilgili kavramsal birçerçeve çizmekte ardından da bir çocuk edebiyatı yapıtı üzerinden bu kavramlarısomutlaştırmaktadır. Çalışmamızda, Aslan’ın beş bölümden oluşan kitabı; yazılışamacı, alandaki yeri, içeriği bakımından ele alınıp tanıtılmaya çalışılmıştır.</p></abstract>
