Amaç: Bu çalışma, çocuk ihmali ve istismarı konusunda okul öncesi öğretmenlerin farkındalık düzeylerini değerlendirmeyi ve bu önemli halk sağlığı sorununun Doğu Türkiye bağlamındaki durumunu ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır.Gereç ve Yöntem: Kesitsel tipteki bu çalışma, 2021-2024 yılları arasında Erzurum il merkezindeki okul öncesi eğitim kurumlarında görev yapan 182 katılımcı ile yürütülmüştür. Veriler, sosyodemografik bilgileri ve “Çocuk İhmal ve İstismarının Belirti ve Risklerini Tanılama Ölçeği”ni içeren yapılandırılmış anket formu ile toplanmıştır. Aim: This study aimed to evaluate preschool teachers’ awareness of child abuse and neglect, recognized as a critical public health issue, particularly in Eastern Turkey.Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted with 182 participants from preschool institutions in Erzurum between 2021 and 2024.
