<p>The main purpose of this research is to examine the opinions of individuals who do Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP) for recreational purposes regarding this sport. In line with this determined purpose, the universe and sample group of this research consists of 25 volunteer individuals who do SUP boarding for recreational purposes in Bodrum and Akyaka regions of Muğla province. In this context, in this research where a semi-structured interview form was used, percentage frequency analyses were used in the analysis of the data obtained from the participants. As a result of the analyses conducted, it was determined that; SUP boarding increased the sense of integration with nature and freedom in the participants; and also provided positive effects on balance, coordination and general physical health. It was determined that all of the participants recommended this sports branch to others and made requests for the development of accessibility and equipment supply.</p></trans-abstract>
