                            <p>Purpose: Burnout negatively effects employees. This study aimed to determine how emotional intelligence (EI) and other factors effect  Ankara Family Health Centers (FHC) staff burnout, raise awareness for enhancing their EI, and provide recom-mendations for managing burnout.Materials and Methods: In this observational, analytical study, 69-question data collection form (informed consent and socio-demographic information forms, Maslach Burnout Inventory, Schutte Emotional Intelligence Test) was administered online to 191 volunteers from Ankara FHC staff, 01.12.2020–30.08.2021. Data were analyzed by IBM SPSS 25.0.Results: Of participants, 136 (71.2%) were female, 132 (69.1%) were aged 30-50. Depersonalization, personal accomplishment, emotional exhaustion, EI means were found 6.37±4.35, 20.01±6.36, 17.94±8.72, 123.07±22.82, respectively. Depersonalization was higher in specialists, those with current/past psychiatric illnesses; personal accomplishment was lower in participants aged 30-50; emotional exhaustion[hh2.1] was higher in women, and lower whose monthly income (3-5 thousand TL) (p</p></trans-abstract>
                                                                                                                                    <abstract><p>Amaç: Tükenmişlik, çalışanları olumsuz etkilemektedir. Bu çalışmada Ankara’daki Aile Sağlığı Merkezi (ASM) çalışanlarının tükenmişliğine duygusal zekâ ve diğer faktörlerin etkisini belirlemek, duygusal zekâlarını geliştirebilmeleri için farkındalık oluş-turmak ve tükenmişlikle baş edebilmeleri için öneriler sunmak amaçlanmıştır.Araçlar ve Yöntem: Gözlemsel, analitik çalışmada, 01.12.2020–30.08.2021’de, Ankara’da ASM’de çalışan 191 gönüllüye, 69 sorulu veri toplama formu (bilgilendirilmiş gönüllü onam formu, sosyodemografik bilgi formu, Maslach Tükenmişlik Ölçeği ve Asıl Form Schutte Duygusal Zekâ Testi sorularından oluşan) internet ortamında uygulanmıştır. Veri analizinde IBM SPSS 25.0 kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Katılımcıların 136’sı (%71,2) kadın, 132’si (%69,1) 30-50 yaş arasındadır. Ortalamalar sırasıyla, duyarsızlaşma 6,37±4,35, kişisel başarı 20,01±6,36, duygusal tükenme 17,94±8,72, duygusal zekâ 123,07±22,82 bulunmuştur. Duyarsızlaşma, uzman hekimlerde, şimdi veya geçmişte psikiyatrik hastalığı olanlarda fazla; kişisel başarı 30-50 yaş arasında olanlarda az; duy-gusal tükenme kadınlarda fazla ve aylık geliri (3-5 bin TL) olanlarda az saptanmıştır (p</p></abstract>
