Abstract

Pacemakers and implantable cardioverter defibrillators are high technology devices used for the treatment of bradyarrhythmias and/or tachyarrhythmias. These devices can be affected by some surgical equipment. Endoscopic sphicterotomy is one of the therapeutic endoscopic procedure that produce electromagnetic interference which can potentially produce unwanted affects for these groups of patients. Awareness of these interferences is of crucial importance. We presented three patients with pacemakers who were performed ES and reviewed the literature for therapeutic endoscopic procedures in patients with implanted cardiac devices.

İmplante kardiyak cihazı olan olgularda endoskopik sfinkterotomi: Olgu serisi ve literatürün değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Kalp pilleri ve implante defibrilatörler ileri teknolojinin kullanıldığı, bradiaritmi ve taşiaritmi, tedavisinde kullanılan cihazlardır. Bu cihazlar bazı cerrahi işlemlerden etkilenebilirler. Endoskopik sfinkterotomi, elektromanyetik alan yaratarak bu hasta grubunda istenmeyen etkilere neden olabilen teröpatik endoskopik bir işlemdir. Bu etkileşimin farkında olmak önemlidir. Bu vaka serisinde endoskopik sfinterotomi yapılan ve kalp pili olan üç olgumuzu sunduk ve bu konu ile ilgili literatürü değerlendirdik.
